As the 50th anniversary of Earth Day approaches, scientists are warning us that we humans must change our ways. Our current way of life, based on the use of fossil fuels to generate energy, is changing the earth’s atmosphere and its climate. What steps can we, must we, take to insure the generations who follow will have the quality of life we have taken for granted?
