Offer Adult RE Events
Description of the Project or Activity:
Plan and/or lead adult spiritual education activity.
Description of the help needed:
Currently the LRE Committee only has time to plan and lead monthly game nights and activities after service that engage families (and ideally people of all ages), as well as to oversee UUFB’s sexuality education program (OWL). Our members are unable to commit to planning and leading additional spiritual offerings for adults and that’s where you come in! Some ideas that have been proposed by various members of the congregation are:

- Spiritual Plurality Groups – Humanist group is still active, but others could be revived or new ones added.
- Book discussions
- UU History
- Feedback from GA and the Article 2 proposals
- And…… your ideas!!
One time project/activity – or- multiple time project/activity:
It’s up to you!
Approximate time commitment:
Depends on what you’re willing and able to do! If you offer to lead a one-time session on a topic and ask the LRE Committee to help plan the event, it could be as little as two hours for the event itself, plus any time you personally need to prepare in advance.
If you are willing and able to plan and lead a discussion group (for example) that meets twice/monthly indefinitely, it could be a significantly larger time commitment.
Note: All contributions are equally valued, so please reach out to the LRE Committee with your ideas and availability and we will do our best to work with you to realize your spiritual education dreams!

1 – 100: We’d love to engage all UUFB members and friends as we know each person has a unique skill or story to share!
