Conductor Michael Sakir is Artistic Director of Intermountain Opera Bozeman and recently completed four seasons as Music Director of Opera Memphis. Praised for his expressive and thoughtful conducting, he has led productions with opera companies across the country, including debuts with Seattle Opera and Opera Idaho. Sakir studied at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and The Boston Conservatory and is originally from Northern California.

Annabella Joy is a singer, actor, dancer, and teaching artist based in Bozeman. A graduate of The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theatre, she has performed with companies including Theatre By the Sea and American Repertory Theater. She is also a founding member of Nervous Theatre, creating and performing original works in Bozeman and around the country. In addition to performing, she teaches private voice lessons to more than 35 students.
