Susan Miller has served as the General Director of Opera Montana (formerly Intermountain Opera of Bozeman) since January 2022. A graduate of Loyola University, she first began her acting career in Chicago performing in musicals and Shakespeare productions. Since moving to Bozeman, she has worked at the Museum of the Rockies and Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. Susan continues to act and sing and occasionally fills in for Opera Montana productions. She lives in Bozeman with her husband, her kids, and a dog that requires more emotional support than it gives.
