Small acts of kindness ripple outward in ways we may never fully see. In this service, we’ll share stories that show how kindness fosters connection, nurtures belonging, and opens us to something larger than ourselves.
Kristin Hamburg was born and raised in Minnesota and has called Bozeman home for the past 31 years. After graduating from college, she began her nonprofit career as a fundraiser for La Rabida children’s hospital in Chicago before moving to Montana with her husband, Keith. Kristin has worked at HRDC for three decades, beginning in direct service with customers and later moving into marketing, fundraising, and customer support. She now serves as HRDC’s Director of Development.
Throughout her career, Kristin has been deeply influenced and inspired by the people HRDC serves, who continue to shape her understanding of kindness, connection, and belonging. In addition to her work at HRDC, she has served on the CASA Board of Directors and the Bozeman Police Foundation. Kristin and Keith have two children—Eric, an MSU student, and Emma, who recently began her own career at HRDC after graduating from MSU. A lifelong animal lover, Kristin enjoys spending time outdoors and walking her dogs.
