Living Above the Line

“Living Above the Line” explores how individuals can lead their own lives by recognizing when they are operating from openness, curiosity, and responsibility versus defensiveness and blame. Drawing from Conscious Leadership principles and insights from the news industry, this talk offers practical strategies for staying above the line in all aspects of life—including engaging with the news.

Orlinda Worthington joined the MSU event and conference team in October 2024. She has 20 years of experience as a Montana television news anchor, producer, and reporter, and most recently as host of Morning Edition on Yellowstone Public Radio. She achieved three E.B. Craney awards in broadcasting and a “Best of the Northwest Talk Show,” award for a program produced for community television. Orlinda is an ordained interfaith Minister from one spirit interfaith seminary and a practitioner for Centers for spiritual Living. She is a native of northern Wyoming, and has lived in Montana since 1997.
