The Golden Ghosts of Montana State College

Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while in service. At the end of World War II, one of the biggest stories circulating the country in both newspapers and radio broadcasts originated right here in Bozeman. While the legend of “The Golden Ghosts of Montana State College” continues, the real story is one of lost dreams, self-sacrifice and heroism for a group of extraordinary Montana boys during one of the most turbulent times in world history. During the service we will also be remembering service members from our own families.
