“We’re working hard to end hunger in southwestern Montana”

Supporting the Gallatin Valley Food Bank is UUFB’s oldest social justice activity.  On the third Sunday of each month, the Fellowship collects non-perishable food donations and toiletries, along with cash contributions, and delivers them to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, we collected 340 pounds of food and almost $500 in cash in a special “drive-through” site in our parking lot.  In 2023, we collected $825 in 2nd Sunday collection for the food bank, along with our monthly collection of non-perishable food and toiletries.
