Volunteer for Fork & Spoon
Would you like to help at Fork & Spoon? UUFB needs 2-3 volunteers from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. one night each month to work as hosts, servers, bus staff, and dishwashers. If you want to sign up for our next volunteer night, please click here to let us know! Below is a list of requirements to volunteer. Thank you!
- Be able to stand for 3 hours, use a mop and a broom, and lift moderately heavy items.
- Arrive at 4:30 p.m. and stay until 7:30 p.m. If you can’t stay the whole time, then please don’t volunteer that evening.
- Listen to the staff member and follow his/her directions. Defer to staff and let them make decisions throughout the evening.
- Enter through the brown double doors to the left of the main entrance. It is marked as the volunteer entrance.
- Masks are required.
- Wear closed-toe shoes and avoid wearing revealing or inappropriate clothing.
- If you are plating food in the kitchen a cap or other headcover is needed. It’s a food safety thing. You may bring your own or we have caps available if needed.
- Be a minimum of 14 years old.
- Park on Beall Street to make space for our patrons.
