“For 25 years the UUA has worked hard to make sure lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people are full members of our faith communities. Being welcoming means striving for radical inclusion, and creating spaces that honor every part of our identities, backgrounds, and experiences.” Fore more information about the Welcoming Congregation program, please click here.

UUFB became a Welcoming Congregation in 1998. Montana was the first state in which all UU congregations achieved this status. In January 2024, UUFB members voted to renew the congregation’s commitment as a Welcoming Congregation by fulfilling the Five Practices of Welcome Renewal in 2024.
