The Second Principle of the Unitarian Universalist Association calls us to affirm and promote justice, equity, and compassion in human relations. Each of these, justice, equity, and compassion, is significant enough and expansive enough to have volumes written on it. Transforming these values from something hoped for into lived experience for all is beyond the ability of any one of us. Yet while none of us alone can make the world a just, equitable, and compassionate place, it is only through the efforts of each of us that these values can be manifest in the world. How might any one of us further one or all of these values?
