Today, which is Flag Day, we commemorate the adoption of the U.S. flag. Also, throughout June, we celebrate Pride Month, a time to lift up the struggles and accomplishments of the LGBTQ community in this country and around the world. Where and how is compassion needed as we acknowledge both Flag Day and Pride Month?
