October 11, 2021 is Indigenous People’s Day here in Bozeman. In most other Montana cities and counties, as well as other states across our country, the day is designated as Columbus Day, a federal holiday. On the eve of these two contrasting holidays, we will consider how, both as individuals and as a Fellowship, we might cultivate relationships with the indigenous peoples of this land we now live on.
