Letting Love Lessen Fear

In our country and around the world, increased public focus and attention is being directed toward those who are perceived as “the other.” Much of this focus and attention of late seems to be fanning the embers of fear toward anyone who looks, believes, speaks or acts differently than what certain groups of people perceive to be acceptable. Writings & teachings from Unitarian Universalism’s Judeo-Christian heritage as well as other religious traditions suggest an alternative to fear. That alternative is love. It is possible for love to guide us to a better way of being.
