“A free and responsible search for truth and meaning” is the Fourth Principle of Unitarian Universalism. In the course of a search for truth and meaning it is quite probable that we will gain a sense of our life’s purpose. As we gain clarity, we may discover that certain aspects of how we are living or what we are doing may not align with our life’s purpose. A question may then arise. Will we decide to live with intention by honoring our life’s purpose or will we continue to live in the way that is familiar to us?
