“I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” These are the words of the pledge of allegiance written by Francis Bellamy in 1892. It seems today that our nation is in a time of fragmentation and division, a time when liberty and justice are for some, but not for all.
