Vote Your Values

The Fifth Principle of Unitarian Universalism calls us to “covenant to affirm and promote: …the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.” On Tuesday, Election Day, we will have the opportunity to put our Fifth Principle into action. As we prepare to cast our ballots it would be beneficial for us to consider what determines how we vote. Do we vote our values or might something else influence our decision?
